This rock was gathered just a few miles from home. It's known locally, along with other rock found in the spillings of coal mines, as "Brookwood Stone." And some of it makes gorgeous cabochons! Mostly Quartz, this cab has a predominantly reddish hue with some yellow coloring as well. VERY pretty! The simple 14K Gold Filled wire wrap has a topper that leads the eye downwards to this petite cutie. This designer cabochon was cut for me by Steve at Bitter Brook Cabochons.
