This pendant has a cabochon of Astrophilite from the Kola Peninsula in Russia! My Russian friend gets only the best quality cabochons for me. Photographing Astrophilite is a challenge! See the bright gold flashy dendrites? When the cabochon is turned from side to side (like when you're wearing it) the flash dances back and forth from one golden dendrite to the next. Very pretty!
