Mookaite, or Mook Jasper, is one of the more colorful stones I've seen. It's from Australia, is difficult to find without fissures or other defects, and getting more and more expensive! This designer cabochon's colors progress smoothly from red at the top, to pale yellow, then a sharp contrasting change to yellow again at the bottom. Absolutely beautiful! It's wrapped in 14K Gold Filled wire

This cabochon is polished on the back side, too! The pendant is 2-3/4" high and 3/4" wide.
