This Velvet Obsidian designer cabochon is big, heavy (62 carats), and drop-dead gorgeous! This photo does not do the cab justice. The cabochon shimmers with shades of black as the light moves across it; at times it almost looks as though there's a ghost peeking back at you from inside the stone. The pendant has a sculptured wrap that suggests flowing hair or a long cloak; this large cabochon handles the wrap easily.
